Peace, dignity and equality. The United Nations declaration of Human Rights. Most of us in the United Kingdom take this for granted. Some people can’t be assured of those rights. Can you imagine fleeing your home and all you know, in fear for your or your loved ones lives? How would you feel arriving in a new country with nothing but the clothes on your back? You survived the journey, but did your family and what now? Can you speak the language? Did you panic buy during the height of the Covid19 pandemic or do you remember how frightened you felt when a silent and invisible killer tore through our communities with no apparent target? Imagine being able to see it. Only the threat is a gun, a bomb, a soldier... a Government. There is no vaccine. There is only determination to escape.
